In The Community

Non-Profit Work

We believe in giving back to the community we live in, and love. One of the local organizations we have done extensive work for is Have House NC.

Providing Comprehensive Services to the Youth and Families of Wake County since 1973.
Haven House Services is a private, non-profit agency that serves the needs of young people in difficult situations - from homelessness to running away to family, school or life problems.

Founded in 1973, we are governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of local citizens dedicated to helping youth and their families.

Using a multi-faceted approach, our agency uniquely provides a wide-range of interrelated programs that address the many challenges faced by today's young people and their families.

Current Project for Haven House:

We are currently developing a full Content Management Driven website for havenhousenc.org There current site is outdated, and lacking in functionality. This site features a full CMS plus Advertising and Mailing List Manager and Email campaign application integrated. The new site can see being developed here: http://haven.rtpdesigns.com

We feel it is important to give back to the community.

RTP Designs LLC, being a Raleigh North Carolina based company feels it is important
to give local charities as much as exposure as possible. We created this page so we can include charities that may not be as well known as other charities.

An example is kidscards.org which uses premature baby’s feet imprints to use as the basis of card designs. What a novel and wonderful way to support UNC Children Hospital programs.

Click on the links and you may find a brand new favorite charity just waiting for you.

Other charities we contribute to, and you might like plus links to their websites.

Duke Childerns Hospital
Every day at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, we meet brave children and their families who are in need of hope, answers—and, above all, care. For us, meeting the needs of these children and families serves as the driving force behind every one of our missions—from critical care and laboratory research to medical education and children’s health advocacy.

Duke Childers Holiday and Card Program
Since its inception in 1981, the Duke Children's Card Program has raised more than $1,200,000 for the kids at Duke! The proceeds generated from these cards support important programs like Camp Kaleidoscope, a summer camp for chronically ill children treated at Duke; research endeavors to help find new treatments and cures for illnesses; and many other important programs that improve the quality of life of the young patients undergoing treatment. Each card, designed by a school child or patient, represents the love and spirit of youth and sends a message that hope and joy reside in all people. This program is truly about children helping children.
